Capitalising on our experience of over eighteen years in the infrastructure sector and comprehensive knowledge of the business, we ventured into Infrastructure Advisory Services. We made use of our knowledge and experience and helped development agencies of both public and private sector in their venture to build infrastructure for tomorrow. Our long-standing presence in almost all the sectors in Infrastructure sector opened avenues for rapid growth and paved way for formation of Bengal SREI Infrastructure Development Limited, a joint venture between SREI Capital Markets Limited and West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation, a nodal agency for Government of West Bengal for carrying out infrastructure development in the state.

 

SREI provides investment-banking services through its wholly owned subsidiary SREI Capital Markets Limited (SREI Capital), a merchant banker and underwriter registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India. Its services include management of public offerings, placement of debt instruments, corporate restructuring and advisory services. The company aims at engaging itself in counselling state governments, their corporations, and other entities, on privatisation, municipal bodies on capital restructuring and funds mobilisation, besides others.

 

SREI has consistently worked with a host of insurance companies to protect the expensive equipment financed by it. The company has therefore gained experience in the general insurance sector. In order to provide comprehensive insurance services to its existing customers and also as an extension to wealth management services, the company floated a wholly owned subsidiary SREI Insurance Broking Private Limited (SREI Insurance). It has been licensed by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) and acts as a composite broker for the insurance sector to a large number of insurance companies, providing both life insurance and non-life insurance services. It is at present working with a number of insurance companies, both in the private sector as well as public sector. Apart from general and life insurance broking, it also provides consultancy and other risk management services to its clients.
