Bengal Srei Infrastructure Development Limited (BSIDL) was formed as a joint venture with the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) and commenced operations in early 2005.

With the aim to facilitate creation and upgrading of infrastructure facilities, BSIDL has been playing the role of a catalyst to achieve sustainable economic development and industrialization through Project Conceptualization, Identification, Market Research, Feasibility Studies, Project Structuring, Resource Mobilization, Corporate Advisory and other services.
