Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited (SIFL), started operations financing construction equipment and has thereafter moved into insurance services, capital markets and has expanded its businesses in other emerging markets. In order to complete the value chain and in order to become an integrated financial services company, it decided to move into the equity space as well and floated Srei Venture Capital Ltd (SVCL), the wholly owned subsidiary of Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited.

It is committed to investing in the private equity, venture capital and mezzanine space in India. It is a family of funds with a primary focus on infrastructure.
