Dr. Mandal is an M.Tech. from IIT, Delhi and he also holds a PHD from UMIST (Manchester) and M. Sc. (Project Management) from Manchester.

 

Dr. Mandal brings with him a rich experience over 30 years in financial advisory services, infrastructure project financing, investment banking and other areas. He has worked for over six years in various public and private sector companies before joining the Government of India where he served for about 25 years in different ministries like Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and Planning Commission where he was last posted as an Adviser.

 

Dr. Mandal also served an U. N Organization for over 5 years on a secondment from Govt. of India. He has been involved in numerous governmental bilateral and multilateral negotiations across the world. He is also the author of the book "Privatisation in the Third World" (1994).

 

 

Mr. Ghosh has been involved in rendering Advisory Services on behalf of Deloitte & Touche, so long he was associated with the firm, as a partner till the late nineties, to Urban Local Authorities, in World Bank and Asian Development Bank Assisted Projects.

 

Thereafter he has been associated in a large number of Infrastructure related Projects as a Consultant of World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Netherland Government and as a Mission Member on behalf of Royal Netherland Embassy, for infrastructure related Projects in Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, as well as, for improvement of Infrastructure for Class II and Class III towns for Andhra Pradesh.

 

His association with Srei dates back to its formation when he was a Partner in Deloittes. He became their Advisor in early 2000. He was also the Executive Director of Srei Capital Markets Limited until last year.

 

He is a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Calcutta. He looks after different project in which Srei have ventured into responsible for co-ordinating with various agencies for successful implementation, ensure statutory and other compliances for the projects, monitoring the projects and providing detail MIS to top management. Before joining Srei he was associated with companies like Shree Sidhi Silicones Pvt. Ltd., Gravure Press Ltd., Radiant Rotogravure Pvt. Ltd., National Hardboards.
