SREI provides investment-banking services through its wholly owned subsidiary SREI Capital Markets Limited (SREI Capital), a merchant banker and underwriter registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India. Its services include management of public offerings, placement of debt instruments, corporate restructuring and advisory services. The company aims at engaging itself in counselling state governments, their corporations, and other entities, on privatisation, municipal bodies on capital restructuring and funds mobilisation, besides others.
